Good Food! Good Times!

The Fab 5 met today at Fabulous Susan's.  We had a fabulous time eating delicious food and sharing needed time with one another.  It was a very relaxing afternoon and a nice break from the busy holiday season.

YUMMM Food!  Chicken Monterey, salad, veggies.  Okay, to say something about the mini potatoes.  I thought they were so fun!  I have seen them before but never eaten them.  The purple ones were acutally a rich purple inside, at least some of them.  Way cool!  A few that I had were purple towards the skin and white, not the normal off-white, color. 

 And delicious dessert.

 Susan made us each a beautiful Christmas tree ornament.

I didn't get a photo of all of us like I hoped because we were so busy enjoying one another's company until it was time to rush off to children coming home from school.  But because you are wondering: we all looked good.

Fab 5 Meets and Eats Again

It was great to get together for lunch again and chat and eat and eat and chat.  Even though we all saw each other throughout the summer we didn't meet to do our luncheon.  So it was nice to sit down with one another and gab.  Thanks to Emily for hosting and providing a festive and delicious lunch!

April Fabulous 5 Luncheon

We were able to spend a nice sunny day together enjoying good food and good company.  Thanks Fabulous Bev!

 

This hit the spot.  Yummm.

Dessert was a delicious light lemon cheescake (at least that is the best way to describe it) topped off with strawberries.  YUMMM.  I couldn't resist having 2 helpings.

Sorry,  no pics of the Ladies.  I was too tired and grungy to want to take other pics. I had been up really late the night before with wonderful RAW and getting up early to go to the DMV (blah).  Can't wait to enjoy that D.L. photo for the next years.  It was a roll-out-of bed, put on a hat morning.  But unfortunately no hat could be in the photo.

March Fabulous Luncheon

It was fabulous to get together again.  We had an enjoyable time chatting and, 

of course, munching too.

Fabulous 5 Luncheon

We're the Fabulous 5.  That doesn't mean we are the only fabulous women out there, just 5 of them.


This group began because of comfort and winter.  Yes, a carpool.  Last year we each had a Kindergarten Girl in the morning.  So, it was obvious with 5 to each take a day of the week to do carpool.   Fabulous Emily wasn't on board at first.  But she had to break her leg to join.  Although, we really would have let her change her mind and join us without breaking her leg. 

So this year since we weren't doing the car pool thing (Well, at least Tresa and I weren't.  The others are carpooling for their preschoolers)  Fabulous Tresa decided we needed to get together each month.  Food is good at bringing people together.  So now we are rotating hosting a luncheon once a month.

Fabulous Susan started us off.  It was delicious and fun.  One of the main things we shared was how each met their husbands and their engagement.

It's great to take a break from the norm and gather around food and Fabulous people.
