April Fabulous 5 Luncheon

We were able to spend a nice sunny day together enjoying good food and good company.  Thanks Fabulous Bev!

 

This hit the spot.  Yummm.

Dessert was a delicious light lemon cheescake (at least that is the best way to describe it) topped off with strawberries.  YUMMM.  I couldn't resist having 2 helpings.

The kiddos enjoyed a picnic outside.  Love the sunny days!
Sorry,  no pics of the Ladies.  I was too tired and grungy to want to take other pics. I had been up really late the night before with wonderful RAW and getting up early to go to the DMV (blah).  Can't wait to enjoy that D.L. photo for the next years.  It was a roll-out-of bed, put on a hat morning.  But unfortunately no hat could be in the photo.

Birthday #?

When people have asked me how old I am turning I really have to think about it.  39.  Wow, 39.  Looking at the number still doesn't seem right.  Some days my body feels older, but for the most part I don't feel or think I am there yet.

I had a wonderful birthday!  Love & gifts from my kiddos and husband.  Calls from my brothers and friends.  And my celebration actually started a couple of days earlier.   Some friends had taken me to lunch.  It was great!

I've been enjoying the books that I received (as well as the Toblerone Chocolate - but don't tell my family because it is in a hiding place).

The night of my birthday I went to RAW.

Thanks for the birthday wishes and song.  I will spare them and not play them singing me happy bday.  I videoed them singing to take the attention off of me and it definitely worked  :) We worked on art journals.  I really enjoyed it.  I have written in my journal a bit and it has been energizing and relaxing  at the same time.  I want to get or make journals for my girls to paint and write in.  They enjoy looking at mine and I know they will love one of their own.

Then the next day I went to the Fabulous 5 Luncheon.  It wasn't in celebration for me, but was a nice addition to it.

Then we had to of course get my free Cold Stone Ice Cream.

1.  Miss A emptying her backpack because she forgot to when Spring Break came.
2.  Shopping at Costco.
3.  A few friends took me out to lunch for my birthday.  Thanks so much! It was so wonderful!
4.  Miss A's friends over to play.  Trying to enjoy the decent weather while they could.
5.  B. is growing "hair" for her little guy.  I love the sight of grass growing.
6.  Little I trying out roller skates - and doing very well at it.
7.  Love the little tongue.
8.  "I looked out my window and what did I see..."
9.  Clouds rolling in.  The weather forecast was for showers later in the day but you never know what could happen.  But the rain did come, and some snow too.  I didn't mind because it is good for the yard.  What would be perfect if they rain come at night and then have a sunny cloudless sky during the day.
10.  One gummy bear was placed on everyone's dinner plate.  If they didn't eat it until after dinner they would get something more.  This was Miss I's (w/ my help) FHE lesson about being patient.  M and B had a hard time leaving their bears alone but everyone succeeded in not eating theirs before they were allowed.
11.  Miss M sharing her scripture at FHE.  I love how all the girls have to stand at the fireplace to lead the song, say a prayer or share their scripture.  They act like they are going up to a podium.   They do this in the morning for scripture study too.
12.  My garden awaits these wonderful seedlings.
