2.  Car Pool pick up.
3.  Little I enjoying the learning opportunities in Miss M's class.
4.  Miss M doing meditation (one of the class works the students can do).
5.  M is sous chef this week.  Next week, chef - which she has been looking forward to for a long time.
6.  M writing down our route of travels starting May 31.
7.  Baby enjoying snack.
8.  Working on our new website - trying to learn word press.  Do you use wp?
9.  Volcano Cake for FHE.
10. Listening to Atlas Shrugged.  Have you read it?
11. Rob and I going through mission souvenirs and reminiscing about our missions.
12. I kept forgetting to take photos.  I didn't carry my camera around with me today like usual because of going to the school (I didn't want it to be a distraction)-so all photos will my iphone today.  I also have been busy getting ready to go on our travels*.

* We are buying a 40ft motor home and traveling for 2 years around the United States and possibly out of country.   We are very excited.  And also very busy trying to go through everything (selling off most of our stuff) and get ready in every aspect.  I will let you know when our new website is ready, then you can follow our adventures there.

Oh the Joys from the Dentist!

Unfortunately I have been to the dentist more than I would like.  But then, one time would be more than I like.  Today I had a couple of things done and was numbed on both sides of my mouth.  Joy!  So here is some silly entertainment for you.  Do you think I'm lupie(sp?)?  Yes, I did drive myself home.  I am wondering if I am acting this way because of lack of sleep, dental drugging or both.  Maybe it is just the struggle of talking with an enlarged lips and tongue?

My Pearls' expressions are crackin' me up.  They are so serious trying to figure out what in the heck I'm saying.

Note: I don't know what is up with the last few videos lately when uploaded.  The sound is out of sync.  I try and figure it out later.

What will My Pearls be when they grow up?

I sometimes wonder what talents I should help my girls develop.  They each seem to have so many.  I feel that as they get older there interests will drift towards what they can excel in, but I don't believe it will be in just one or two things.
Little I drew this picture for me the other day.  It is me (part of my arm, wrist and hand) reaching into a box of donuts.  Can you find the ring on my finger?  I think this is a pretty amazing drawing perspective for a 3 1/2 year old.  She draws daily.  I truly enjoy in drawing explanations.  She has fabulous characters and tales with each one.
So after looking at this drawing I thought: if I had to pick one career for each of My Pearls that I thought they will become it would be ~
B: Historian
M: Singer
A: Colorful Fashion Designer
I: Artist
M: Comedian

It will be interesting to see which path they take in life.  I really don't care as long as they are happy and living close to their Heavenly Father.

12of12 March 2011

Wow! March already!
1.  A HUGE bowl of frozen raspberries that Miss M was trying to eat.  She LOVES raspberries.  But I wouldn't let her finish them because it was from our last bag purchased from the cannery and we can't get anymore for a long time.  We all enjoy raspberries.
2. View from my indoor morning run.
3. Te Veo!  Self Portrait.
4.  Baby often will put on one, and only one, of her squeaker shoes and run around to make it squeak.
5.  Potatoes to bake for our Twice-Baked dinner with the McKenzies.
6.  Little I doing her Saturday job.  Her first time cleaning the bathroom and she did very well (with a little help).  In the photo she is saying:  Wow! I'm tall!  I can reach to the top on my tippy-toes!
7.  B. learning about the Tsunami that hit Japan.  Devastating!
8.  M & B playing a game.  They enjoy playing "War" card game and Mancala together.  (M is wearing her eye patch for therapy).
9.  M blow drying her hair.  My Pearls are growing up way too fast!
10.  Surprise bunch of (about 15) photos.  There were several of me.  I didn't ever hear her taking any.  I really need to get my hearing checked.
11.  Some photo booth fun with "the cousins." Jenica and I were having a lot of laughs with our own photoboothing!
12.  Seed exchange.  Oh yeah!  'Tis the Season.  Thanks John!

But wait!  It's not over yet!
This is me practicing my crimping (is that right Jenica?) skills!
Then the real pro had to take over (I was going a bit too slow). Look at how calm and easy she does it.
And the final photo of the evening: Fun Chaos!
(Yes, I was actually trying to get a kid group photo but this was the best I got.  Can't go against the fun).

Food Friday: Happiness in Cupcakes

Okay, again with the non-recipe Food Friday post.
Little I's friend was over for playtime.  She missed his birthday party last Saturday because the invitation was in the mail and we failed to get our mail for a few days.  Oops!  Little B. is so cute and the 2 have a lot of fun together.  So this morning we thought we would celebrate his birthday a little more.  We played with punch balloons, the train set, grooved to party tunes, made cupcakes and decorated them.  Yum!  We did throw in some morning nutrition with raspberries and blueberries on top of the chocolate cupcakes of all sizes.   Party on!

Food Friday: Alaskan Salmon

Okay this isn't exactly a recipe, but I thought I would share what I have been enjoying for lunch lately.
The Alaskan Salmon Burgers are from Costco.  I started eating them again when Miss A broke her jaw and could start eating soft foods.  I add home dried rosemary and fresh squeezed lemon on top after it is baked.  Eat with a vegetable.  I usually like a green with it, but today's veg. was leftover smothered cauliflower.  I need to share that recipe some time.  It's a good one.
